Frank Lloyd Wright designed and patented a series of 45 prisms of clear glass tiles to refract light for the Luxfer Prism Company building in Buffalo, New York, 1896-97. The front and rear walls of the building were made entirely of these Luxfer Prisms. This clock incorporates two of the famous prism designs, including the flower design that was the only one that was ever actually produced.

The case is made of individual bronze finished rods. The dial features raised hour markers on a cream background with a shadow background design. It's protected by a convex glass lens and has a smooth sweep second hand.

Requires (1) AA battery, not included.

Absolutely Amazingwe had

We had the most wonderful experience on the
Accessibility Tour. They accommodated my limited walking with plenty of seating throughout each building. My husband thought he was going to miss all the information when his hearing aide was left at home as it was getting repaired. It was so fortunate to be supplied with a hearing assisted device.

Our tour guide, Spencer, was considerate and understanding of each person’s special needs. He was able to answer everyone’s questions with enthusiasm. He provided us with the soul and life of the man behind the buildings, and the people that surrounded him. He is part of a great preservation team and I see him as a great contributor throughout his life.
