In 1931, Frank Lloyd Wright and his wife, Olgivanna, envisioned a groundbreaking school at Taliesin in Wisconsin, offering a hands-on learning experience. In 1933, Eugene Masselink, a talented artist with a passion for learning from Wright, joined the Fellowship, becoming one of its earliest members. Masselink's journey at Taliesin aligned with the most prolific period of Wright's life, spanning three decades.
Eugene Masselink's artistic expertise quickly made him indispensable to Wright. As Wright's personal secretary and designated muralist, Masselink's collaboration with the legendary architect thrived. His abstract graphic style, characterized by abstract natural forms, harmoniously blended with Wright's design principles and philosophical vision.
