Art Tile - Saguaro Rainbow by Motawi

This design is based on “Saguaro Forms and Cactus Flowers,” Wright’s interpretation of a desert landscape. Although initially disregarded by Liberty Magazine in 1927 as too "radical," it became one of Wright’s most popular designs. It was later transformed into a stained-glass feature for the lobby of the renowned Arizona Biltmore hotel.

Each Motawi tile is made by hand in Ann Arbor, Michigan with time-honored methods which produce a nuanced range of color with depth and translucence on each design. These hand-crafted tiles may vary slightly in color and dimensions, up to 1/16".
