In the early 1920's, seeking a fresh start in the "golden state," he established a small office in West Hollywood and began working on commissions that showcased his groundbreaking "Textile Block Construction."

Embracing the ethos of organic architecture, Wright integrated the homes seamlessly into their natural surroundings. Hand-casting blocks using raw materials found on the property, the houses blended harmoniously with the colors and forms of the trees and hillside, creating a living and breathing connection with nature.
